There shouldn't be any trouble with the updating of the firewall client software since the setup files and configuration files are still pointed to the ISA server by DNS or by IP Address. You can immediately update the firewall client software manually upon installation or just wait for it to do the auto update which is by default, every 6 hours. I think moving the mspclnt folder to another computer makes no difference in moving it to a CD-R or other media.
