This being an SBS box, was it configured originally via the
wizards?..... If not, then socket pooling may not have been configured
correctly.

Subject: [isalist] 0x80072740 on SBS / WPAD -- Jim?

Just found out i'm receiving alerts for error 0x80072740, "Web Proxy
service failed to bind its socket". This is on a SBS machine, so IIS is
installed. I've successfully applied the WPAD workaround from what I can
tell, clients manage to find it.

I've determined that whenever a WPAD request is made, i see this alert
(shows as 'Resource allocation failure'). In my generated reports, I
still only see IP addresses.

When I go to Internal Network Properties -> Web proxy -> Enable HTTP is
set to port 8080.

Internal Properties -> Auto Discovery -> 'Publish automatic discovery
information' is checked and on port 80.

Help....? Thanks.
