Right click on your FTP rule, select configure FTP and uncheck the read only box. I have used the older version of ISA with great success, but I am a little stumped on one aspect of 2004. Clients behind the ISA box can connect out to an FTP server and browse directories, download files with no trouble. When I try to PUT a file out to any FTP server I get an immediate 550 Access is denied. I have logged in as admin on the ISA box and tried with the same results. If I got to the same FTP server from any other network using the same credentials, it works fine. I watched my filter logging and I don't see where anything is being blocked. Anytime I have ever seen a firewall block FTP in the past, it would hang the client as opposed to an access denied message at the client. Any thought?
