Of course, as Joe says, if you've got the hardware back to back gives you a lot of added benefits, depending on whether you use your dmz Greg ________________________________ From: cismic [mailto:cismic@xxxxxxx] Sent: Friday, January 16, 2004 2:24 PM To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] RE: Consultant needed http://www.ISAserver.org My external ISA is not in a domain and part of a workgroup. The internal ISA is part of the domain and works well. I also run a back to back ISA setup. You can read about back to back with a dmz on isaserver.org. What kind of problems can arise from having ISA as a member of a domain? I haven't come across anything stating it should be in a workgroup. ________________________________ From: Marrow K.L. ISA Server 2000 in my environment or any of the environment should be a workgroup server only as it serve as the IP pass through thing.I work in a similiar environment but DNS and DHCP server run on the same Server as the Exchange 2000, this should be better. Any one has better suggestion ? Very best regards, Marrow Yung. -----Original Message----- From: Jenifer M.
