Change MTU

Hi everybody,
I have a problem with my VPN, and would like to lower my MTU value on the
External NIC.
Does anybody know the reg key for doing this.
I found the location of the reg key in Q281962 but no info of the name.
On page 78 of the manual, Microsoft Windows 2000 TCP/IP Protocols and
Services Technical Reference there should be a description. Does anybody
have the book?
