Subject: [isalist] Backup / Restore

http://www.ISAserver.org

I am attempting to create a standby ISA machine in case our currently live
one decides to blow up!

I have created a backup from the live system and am attempting to restore it
onto the newly created standby machine.

However, when I do this the operation fails indicating a difference in array
configuration between the backup and the current system. Unfortunately it
gives no pointers or clues as to what may be preventing the restore from
occurring.

Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can get around this problem. I
really don't want to manually create all my rules etc. again on the standby
machine.

Many thanks

Regards
