Hi
Fancy a chance to be on the box? Dublin Community Television are looking for
people with disabilities who work or live in the DUblin area to take part in
a television programme which aims to provide a real insight into the lives
of people with disabilities. It's called Invisible and it's a four part
series. The topics to be covered on each show include.
Education:
Family
Relationships and Socialising
Political Correctness, language used, being patronised etc.

The unique thing about it is that it is driven by the person with a
disability themselves, so you get to decide what to say and how you would
like to be portrayed.

If you think you'd be up for it, the lady's name is Jackie Johnson. Her
number is 086 3836190 and her email is jjmedia@xxxxxxxxxx

Hope it gives you food for thought. This really does sound like it's making
a genuine attempt to gain an insight into the real lives of people with
disabilities.

Best wishes

Derbhile Dromey.
