Hi Marvin I use the Foxtel app for the TV guide all the time and it’s fully
accessible.
Youcan record, series link shows, change channels, set reminders and get
synopsis of programs.
Hope this helps Jeff

Hi Marvin,

I refer to your email in relation to the accessibility of Foxtel’s Online TV
Guide. Thank you for your patience while I followed your concern up with the
relevant department in Foxtel.

I have been advised that Foxtel’s Online TV Guide is not currently compatible
with a screen reader. However, Foxtel is currently reviewing the
accessibility of its Online TV Guide and intends to make the guide compatible
with a screen reader. That being said, Foxtel is not in a position to confirm
any timeline for implementation at this stage.

I can confirm however that Foxtel’s TV Guide Application for iPhone and iPad,
is accessible through a screen reader enabling vision impaired customers to:
· review all channel listings (including free-to-air channels);
· change channels on a Foxtel iQ set top box;
· search across 14 days of program listings to easily find the shows
you are interested in;
· remote record programs (with or without Series Link) to your Foxtel
iQ or Mystar set top box;
· set reminders on your phone or tablet for when your favourite shows
are about to start; and
· receive recommendations for other programs that are similar to a
particular program.

We hope to be able to make most of these functions available to vision
impaired customers through Foxtel’s Online TV Guide in the near future.

Please do not hesitate to let me know if you have any questions.

Kind regards,

Laura
