Brian, How many hours of content do you expect to have? I have a 3 hour music machine, a 2 hour 60, 70s Sunday and Terry does something on Saturday too! When do I work and do everything else? <grin Pranav -----Original Message----- From: infotech-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:infotech-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Brian Hartgen Sent: Monday, December 14, 2009 7:37 PM To: infotech@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [infotech] The next edition Hi We very much hope that the next edition of the magazine will be available within the next couple of days as we promised you. I believe we have a review of the new Braille note apex which will be exciting to listen to I am sure. The other major feature is about radio broadcasting from its most basic form to something more sophisticated. We talk in depth about what internet broadcasting is, and start out by going through some concepts of how to put a simple program together for submission to an internet radio station using a sound editor. This includes how to mix music content with speech. We then talk about hardware and software considerations for streaming audio over the internet, a little about how to configure it, and there is a demonstration of Station Playlist Studio which is software used to manage your music, jingles and effects. The item also contains some good advice, I hope, about organising your music library etc. Finally, the software is demonstrated in a live broadcasting situation. Enjoy the magazine when it happens, its quite a long one!
