Hi, George.
There is. If you're using Winamp, press the left arrow to move back and the
right arrow to move forward within an audio file.
if you're using windows Media Player, tab to the seek left right slider and
then press the left and right arrows to move respectively--if not respectfully.
 <grin>

Thanks Lynn; I'll try that. I thought some how, and was hoping there would
be some way of moving backwards and forwards within a given podcast. Ah well.

If you're using Winamp, press the letter C to pause the audio and Alt-Tab
back to the file when you're ready to resume listening. Press the letter C
again to start audio playback-----

If you're using Windows Media Player, press Control-P to pause the audio

      Lynn,

How does one listen to a podcast in segments? I never knew that could be
done. I have only been able to listen to one straight through--neither
advancing or rewinding. Enlighten us, please.

        Evening, All.

here is this week's podcast. It's a rather long one, so you might want
to listen in segments. The topics covered are:

        techLynne Talks

First Impressions of the BookSense XT

Story Corp Interview with Gus Chalkias

        Comedy Corner.
