Hello,
I am creating a file using dd (something like dd if=/dev/zero
of=foobar.img). Now I format it as an ext2 image (mkfs.ext2 foobar.img).
Is there a way to uniquely identify this file? Doing a checksum on the
image file is not feasible given the size of the image. Also, uuidgen
seems to generate different values each time.
