[Ilugc] to see & use windows files from linux

Hi friends,
my system is in dual port windows and linux.when i was having mandrake linux i 
was able to see the windows files in /mnt/win_c  and use them, bydefault 
without any configuration .but in redhat 7.3 i'm not able to see the windows 
files by default.i heard that we have to mount the windows.. in /etc/fstab 
file.but i dont know how to do it ? can u plz help me????
