kmail supports unix mbox format.
The lates version which comes with
KDE3 supports both mbox and maildir
formats.

dear friend,
            i changed the /etc/sysctl.conf file

kernel.shmmax=268435456,

then i enter as a oracle user,

cd Disk1
./runInstaller


Initialising Java Virtual Machine from
../stage/Components/oracle.swd.jre/1.1.8/1/Datafiles/Expanded/linux/bin/jre.
please wait....

again the same error, can anyone help me to install the
oracle 8i in linux. please help me

u calculate "ramsize in MB * 1024 * 1024 /2 "
now add the following line to sysctl.conf

and as root ,run
sysctl -p
