[Ilugc] resolution in extra monitor sometimes goes down

Have this line in /etc/X11/xorg.conf

Modes 1280x1024 1024x768 800x600

You need to have this line for every monitor you have. Which is to say
that
you need to add it to the section.

Then only this will work. 

you apparently have not read the original post - it works most of the
time. Sometimes it doesnt.
