Hi peter,
I tried the way you mentioned in your website for making autorunCD.But its not
working.Mine is Debian sarge system.I want to have a utility disc of my own.So
i need CD to run automatically. And also as u mentioned
..
..
Linux
Create a file called autorun containing a shell script which
will locate and execute a browser on the specified file. In theory it could be
as short as this:
#! /bin/sh
htmlview index.html
I dont have htmlview command so i am using firefox
just for testing..but its not working
autorun script itself not working
However, some systems fail to import the path for autorun
correctly, or they start up in the user's home directory
instead of the CD mount-point, so they fail to find
htmlview; others don't implement htmlview at
all, so it's easier to use something like
>>>>>>>>>>>this link is not working....
http://research.silmaril.ie/autoruncd/autorun
this script, which tests for different ways to open
the file. You may want to edit it to do other things also.
