Please specify the following.
1. What sound card do you have? Else at least specify the model number of
the motherboard you are using (if it's an integrated audio chip)
2. What Linux Distro are you using?
You can get the information about your motherboard/sound chip from the
manuals or from Windows if you have it installed :). Once we know this, we
can suggest what to do.
