i have a problem in connecting a HP printer with my laptop. i Have installed
debian in my system. i have already installed the printing system. when i
try to add the printer everything goes well. the printer gets detected as HP
1020. it also recommends a driver for that. once i installed it says that a
printer has been added. but when give something to print the job keeps on
waiting. this the same with ubuntu too.even a test page cant be printed. i
have furnished the details of the printer and below
make : hp
type: laserjet
system detetcts as : HP laserjet 1020
my laptop is hcl make and have installed debian 4.0.
this problem also comes if we try it in a desktop too
