Hi
1.Are you running any other service at port 80 please check that.
2. check your browser settings also for proxy and local host connection
settings.( if you are in proxy ,plz tick no proxy for localhost)
if still not able to fix problem plz share more description of problem.

this is the message displayed i could not use phpmyadmin help me resolve
this and i have attached apache.conf file of phpmyadmin in this mail
