[Ilugc] not able to login by root

1. username 'root' may not exist.
2. password could have been changed.
3. securetty has incorrect/inappropriate entry.
4. one of the .dot files could have been 'hacked' by naughty users to
have logout or exit.
5. the passwd entry could have had an invalid shell
A dozen other reasons. Research a bit. Be a bit more clear. Provide us
error messages/log files.
