I am using athlon 1.4ghz + 192mb SDRam. I find the latest distro very fast in
loading,
X windows starting & also launching application, shutting down. Only thing is
i have downloaded only one cd. There are lot more applications in other two
cds. I will wait for final release during september 10th or so.

Mdk is now based on new glibc and gcc3.1.1. I would like some feedback
from
mdk9.0b1 users as to the advantages gcc3.1.1 brings. How fast are the
applications now that they are compiled with gcc 3.1.1? How are the Athlon
optimizations if you are using them?

Kde 3.02 with koffice 1.2beta2
Other features i am just having a feel of it. All my cards have been
automatically detected.
