*Forwarding Plane*
Senior software engineering position to take lead role in development
andarchitecture work. Deep knowledge and prior work experience in the
following areas are required -
- operating systems internals,
- network drivers,
- real time operating systems,
- ipc mechanisms,
- interconnects and hardware interfaces.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and 5 years of relevant
experience
*Platform Engineers*
Suitable candidate should have prior experience with
* system bringup (preferably RISC).
The suitable candidate should also have experience with
shared memory multiprocessor systems,
distributed systems
and network processors.
Prior work on network protocols and deep understanding of layer
3-7 network services is also required.
3+ years of related hands-on experience. Strong C programming and
debugging skills required.
*Skills required*
- Embedded system programming
- RTOS
- L2 & L3 protocols like Frame relay, ATM, IPTC, MPLS
- Routing protocols

*Platform Team Requirement*
Design, develop and maintain software features in the platform group.
Must have thorough knowledge of UNIX internals, drivers, systems
programming, computer architecture and networking essentials. Strong C
programming language, system design and debugging skills are a requirement.
Working knowledge of FreeBSD kernel, TCP/IP, routing protocols and
forwarding is a big plus.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and 5 years of relevant
experience
