[Ilugc] insmod in kernel 2.6?

Are you doing it as root?? Are you getting the "Operation not permitted
message"? I am assuming that you are doing it as root because of the $
in the prompt. It would be helpful if you could post the exact response
of the system. When I try to insert a module as a normal user this is
what happens.
[net in nataraj@nutsbox]$ insmod ./8139too.ko
insmod: error inserting './8139too.ko': -1 Operation not permitted
