I use samsung yepp yp 55v. Though its expensive, its amazingly good.
Its an all-in-one kinda solution..
It features :
1. MP3 / WMA Player
2. MP3 Encoder
3. Line in recorder.
4. Voice recorder (2 hours of live music recording comes around 27-29 mb at
5. Selectable Bitrate
7. 256 mb storage space.
8. Customisable equaliser with presets too..
9. WOW / SRS effects.
10. Works with single AAA battery that, for me, lasts about 5 hours. (smart
choice would be to buy a recharger / rechargeable batteries).
Most importantly, you can connect it to your computer thru USB (ofcourse, it
works with GNU/Linux) and use its storage space to store any kinda file not
only mp3 or wma.
you can visit http://www.samsungyepp.com
As I said the player is expensive. When I got it it was around 210 USD. Now
I think, its around 150 USD. I believe its _WORTH_ it.

Subject: [Ilugc] USB flash memory
Of late i have been thinking of buying a USB flash memory. In
Ritchie St., i found them coming in around 2k +/- 200 (128Mb).
Some of them can playback mp3 formats as well. These are a bit
costly, touching almost 5k. And then there is SONY's 'Vault'
range place at a bit higher ranges. Any recommendations ?
