we are using Cobalt Qube3 mail server, iam receiving
junk /spam mails every day atleast a in 100's. when i
receive this junk mails, some mails were bounce's
back. So in this case our ISP were treating us as a
spammers. how can I either stop these kinds of mails
or how can i drop these mails, iam using
sendmail(idont know the version). Can u people help
me.

You will not receive bounced emails unless there is a machine on your
network sending out these emails in the first place. It seems to me that
you might have a trojaned machine on your network which is sending out
spam emails. Your best bet is to update virus signatures on all machines
on the network and run a full test to determine if there are trojans.
If this does not isolate the machine sending out the spam, then you can
setup a network sniffer which will pinpoint the machines on the network
sending out these packets. Once you have identified this machine, you can
resolve the problem by perhaps formatting and reinstalling the OS and
other software.
To answer your question about setting up Sendmail to make a copy of each
mail, yes - this is indeed possible. Please look at the Sendmail docs for
an explanation; one option is you can setup a default email id to which
all outgoing emails are copied automatically by your sendmail server - but
this does not in itself handle the case of documents leaving your network
without your permission because it is possible to use a separate SMTP
server other than your sendmail server to send out emails. Additionally,
documents can be sent over Yahoo! messenger, MSN and other IMs.
One point to Joe Steeve - you are not automatically guaranteed the right
to privacy on a corporate network. The computers you might use on your
corporate network are not considered your private space / private property
and what you do on those machines can be monitored and tracked. This
applies even to emails, your chat sessions, your browsing habits and so
on. This is true in the west and this is particularly true in India since
we don't have any strong privacy laws unlike in the West.
