linux-kernel mailing list. It maybe an overkill at start. You have
been warned !
dude, you definitely have a sadistic bent recommending newbies to
subscribe to lkml!:):) ['you got mail' will distinctly have a sore-
throat raspy noise to it:)]
i was subscribed for more than a couple of years - and found out that
the amount of time i used to take to delete all the mails was more than
the amount of time i spent reading interesting+relevant mails [~10-25%
of traffic, the rest being patches, upgrades, random mails, offtopic
threads, very small fixes, docu changes etc].
seriously speaking though i highly recommend www.kernelnewbies.org and
their mailing list. its just an excellent resource and many kernel
developers do post replies there. its a very nice group. if anyone is
interested in kernel development and is starting out, thats the group
to join. it was founded by rik van riel [of rmap VM fame]
