Guys,
Apropos of the post sent few days about about phone book access with
Nokia 3110, I got it working by simply compiling the latest source and
installing in my OpenBSD machine.
I tried compiling it on gentoo first.
So in case any of you have this mobile and don't want to lose your phone
numbers just because you lose your mobile ;), then you could do this.
Thanks to Sujith for the command.
# gnokii --getphonebook ME 1 end > mobile-numbers.txt
and you need this /etc/gnokiirc
# grep -v ^# /etc/gnokiirc
-------------------------------------------------------------------
[global]
port = /dev/tty00
model = AT
initlength = default
connection = serial
use_locking = no
serial_baudrate = 19200
smsc_timeout = 10
[gnokiid]
bindir = /usr/local/sbin/
[connect_script]
TELEPHONE = 12345678
[disconnect_script]
[logging]
debug = on
rlpdebug = off
xdebug = off
-------------------------------------------------------------------
And I downloaded gnokii-0.6.23. I guess it is the latest stable release
you could get from the website.
Thanks.
