What do you mean by pure gcc.exe ? Mingw is a native Windows compiler
which uses Microsoft's C runtime. You can't get anymore native than that.


strawberry perl comes with make and make install features by having
something or maybe even gcc along with the package.have a look at what
they use. But it has the same feel as gcc , when you use dmake :)
