[Ilugc] dsl connects but not able to resolve dns

What if you directly pinged the IP address?
$ ping 204.71.177.70
OR
Open up the following URL in a browser:
http://204.71.177.70
Post the output of:
$ cat /etc/resolv.conf
Did you try opening up URLs on different browsers?
