Please suggest me Distribution that could be used as Desktops, Worksation,
Server
It depends on the person who promotes linux to any organisation.
basically, Linux is collection of all desktop, workstation, server
software.
and all distributions have most of them in their repository.
The Distro war will be there for ever.
So, let the choice to the user.
just introduce them about the varieties of Distros.
show some of them.
At last, all distro use GNOME or KDE or some YYYYYY.
user should learn how to work in these things only.
I personally like Debian and Ubuntu for their repository and the "apt-
get".
but yesterday saw a fedora 7 box which gets me any package via "yum
install".
what to say?
all distro's are giving online updation easily.
so, the choice is yours.
