Actually I am trying to create a usb boot for a netbook - if there
is
any other way please let me know.
Try Unetbootin or FUSBi .
will try unetbootin and report back
after installing on fedora 12 I get:
unetbootin: symbol lookup error: unetbootin: undefined symbol:
_ZN9QListData7detach3Ev
The binary is incompatible with your Fedora install.
unetbootin was unable to create LiveUSB for openSUSE 11.1 from the LiveCD.
Try this link <
http://www.pendrivelinux.com/> for instructions on
specific distros. Keep in mind that distros do change the liveCD FS
layout. With openSUSE it has become as simple as dd if=LiveCD.iso
of=/dev/sdX (where sdX is the pen drive). YMMV with other distros.
