[Ilugc] connection closed by foreign host

hi,
i am running HTS (http tunneling server) in
bioinformatics.org and HTC in my computer. the command
for HTC is
$htc -F 8888 bioinformatics.org:80
When i tried
$telnet localhost 8888
.. it said
connected to localhost.localdomain(127.0.0.1)
Escape character ^]
connection closed by foreign host
From the netstat output i see
" tcp 0 0 127.0.0.1:8888
127.0.0.1:1033 TIME_WAIT -"
I dont undestand why htc should go to time wait state.
and tcpdump does not dump any traffic at port 80. so
it means the HTC has not forwarded my request at
all... can anyone undestand why it says connection
closed by foreign host ?
