When the configure script is run at build time, this will arrange to define
the preprocessor macro
it checks the conditions from configure.in

when installing the s/w using source code we come
across the stpes:
./configure
make
make install
what really happens.. why cant we just go with
make install
how does it differ from installing using rpm/deb..
The world is moving so fast that the man who says it can't be done is
