the number might be clock value or time stamp.
i capture these packets along with regular data packets, when i hcidump
does list the device but with a MAC address of 11:11:11:11:11:11
my ZIPPYS dongle has the same too
i was always wondering why ?
the below link says its an unlicensed Mac address

s this is a legal MAC address?Any pointers to solutions appreciated.
There is a patch from debian-kernel mailing list
http://www.mail-archive.com/debian-kernel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/msg32744.html
I seriously know patch is just a difference between the different version
and dunno how to do it.
the patch has to be applied for the "bluetooth" module, i guess.
me@Dinesh:/sys/module/hci_usb$ lsmod | grep hci
hci_usb 16028 0
bluetooth 45956 5 hci_usb,rfcomm,l2cap
usbcore 112644 5 hci_usb,usbhid,ehci_hcd,uhci_hcd
i am interested in Mobile Communications.I theoretically know what is "SCO".
i could not comprehend the C files & hardware details at this stage :)
one has to work at the HCI layer of bluetooth stack to understand SCO & the
cause of this message.
the stack diagram is
http://www.cs.utk.edu/~dasgupta/bluetooth/bluetoothprotocolstack.gif
let me experiment this later, after completing my project !
willing to learn if some one can solve it
