[Ilugc] bad sector

Zico, People are here to help you for free. The question you asked
initially was "how to configure the bad sector in linux?". Is should
probably be "How do I fix bad sector problems in Linux". And it is
better if you include other information like, what exact error you are
getting, what OS you are using, which partition has bad sectors, etc.
There are many ways to solve your problem. If you find bad sectors in
root or home partition, then I would recommend you to get into single
user mode, and run fsck.

explains about getting into single user mode.
You can also use a livecd, to boot and run fsck on your hard disc.
