How do you draw a cat?
Take a pencil and draw on a paper.
How do you draw a chair?
You pull it and sit down.
Similarly you draw ASCII art with figlet. But only
ASCII characters, not arbitrary lines and drawings.
$ figlet hello
_ _ _
| |__ ___| | | ___
| '_ \ / _ \ | |/ _ \
| | | | __/ | | (_) |
|_| |_|\___|_|_|\___/
My gmail interface has goofed it up. But it comes beautifully in a terminal.
Usually there will be arbitrary line wrapping done by mail clients. So
it is hard to transmit such output by mail.
