Back when I was using Windows, I used to cache
webpages and then read them later offline. This did
lead to a very Bloated Internet Explorer but was very
easy going on my phone bill.
Now with Mozilla 1.7a I'm unable to work offline as
freely as I used to with IE. I tried using a large
cache size and a bigger history period but still
webpages refuse to be displayed offline.
I know its a good thing that offline browsing is very
limited. This does improve security, as earlier even
Rediffmail and Hotmail could be read offline. This is
prevented in Mozilla.
Is anyone using an alternative browser for their
"offline-reading" ? it would be of much help.
I have Epiphany,Firefox and Konqueror as my
alternative browsers but hardly use them.
