But why still creating a document in Win Vista and try to open it using OO or
KO. Its time to do the other way and ask M$, "Why are you not letting other
document formats getting opened in MOffice?"
Monopolies have the option of holding data and users hostage and
frequently exercise it. The lock-in of MS Office is only getting worse
with share point. Unless Openoffice.org on Windows getting a momentum
equivalent to Firefox, you can't except change or answers. Unfortunately
Openoffice.org is trying to win over users in Microsoft's game where
they are way ahead. Sun has a ODF plugin for MS Office that might help.
