You need to start the apache in different port say 8080 if IIS is
already installed. go to your browser navigate to http://localhost.
you would see the apache page. if you see, then your server is up and
running. if not, then start the server. put your files in the apache
root /htdocs/ folder for the php or else create the a folder and put
it.try test.php
