Dear all,
I have a problem in my ubuntu laptop. While loading the GUI of the operating
system i.e ubuntu 8.04, it encounters the following error :
kinit:
name_to_dev_t(/dev/disk/by-uuid/71dcb082-566b-4710-ad32-7fd89bb4b863)=sda3(8,3)
kinit: ting to resume from
/dev/disk/by-uuid/71dcb082-566b-4710-ad32-7fd89bb4b863
kinit: No resume image, doing normal boot ...

I am only getting into the Command mode of the operating system. |I
installed skype in ubuntu 8.04 after extensive google search while GUI was
doing well. After installation I restarted the machine. The error. I tried
the command startx :
xauth: ero while loading shared libraries: lib Xau.so.6: cannot open shared
object file: No such file or directory
Kindly help me in fixing the problem.
