Hello ppl,
I have installed ubuntu 6.0.2 TLS version recently in my
system.Iam using the Gnome desktop enviroment.
In gnome there is an option System->Administartion->Users and
Groups.Inthat,there is an option to change wat administarative tasks
an user can
perform. I removed some of the permissions like access to Users and Groups.
What generally happens when i choose System->Administration->Users and
Groups is , the root password is asked for and then tasks like
adduser,delete user can be done.
Since i removed user access to these i dont get the option
System->Administration->User and Groups.Now i want it back.How can i do
tat??
It would be better if i could login as root..Is there anyway to login
as root without using any options under System->Administration.
Thanks.
Charanya.
