Dear sathish,
I just downloaded the kernel RPM from fedora update
site and just installed it.
I didnt customise nor compiled the kernel by myself.
And also I use gedit[editor],Kalarm,OOffice,.. till
gammu/gnokki[mobile PL USB cable driver].
Never did I experience any error.
One thing I have noticed is that if you shutdown
without disonnecting the net connection, it will throw
some kernel errors/outputs...
But, its not a problem... You can't make the eciadsl
modem driver work with the kernel that comes with
fedora core 2[ CD].
If any doubts please get clarified...
bye
