Hello Luggies,
We at NRCFOSS have got a request for conducting training for C/C++
Developers in CRIS (Centre for Railway Information Systems) on C/C++
Development using Eclipse IDE. We are looking for someone who can handle
this. The details of the proposed training session are as follows,
Suggested Course Contents:
1. Getting started with using Eclipse for C/C++ programming
2. Eclipse and CDT plug-in
3. CYGWIN and MINGW
4. wxWifgets
5. Configuring Eclipse to develop and run C/C++ applications
6. Testing the configuration
7. C/C++ Development in Eclipse
8. Running the applications
9. Resources
FAQs:
1. What is the expected duration of the training?
[Reply] A day or two, I expect. There is no limit to the days. The
training is not for teaching C/C++. It is for migrating programmers who
are programming in these languages but today use no IDE.
2. What is the background and number of trainees expected?
[Reply] The number of trainees will be approx 10. They are basically C,
C++ programmers who do the programming as part of their day to day work.
3. Would this training be on full time basis (ie, 8hrs a day) , or on
part-time(evening) class basis?
[Reply] Full time basis.
4. The class/lab would be held at CRIS or at our place?
[Reply] At CRIS, We can provide a training room, with 7-8 PCs and LCD
Projector
5. What is the training expected to equip the trainees for?
[Reply] The trainees should be able to use Eclipse IDE for C/C++
development during their normal work.
