1) Introduction to Linux
+ a bit of history (kernel, gnu, ...)
3) Linux Commands
the linux command reference (from orielly) would be helpful
4) Vi editor
+ a bit of introduction to emacs :-)
5) Shell Scripts
ABS is the recommened advanced usage guide
Theory : 10 Classes Practical : 20 Classes
But , the syllabus also includes Windows and its applications for 10
Theory classes and 15 Practical Classes.
20 > 15!
I am not sure what type of commands and scripting will be introduce.
More over, it is not continuing in +2 Syllabus. [ where C++ is introduced ]
Would it make sense to include Python in +1? Read why Python is a good
first language to learn

cp4e:

Hope in the coming years it will be converted towards GNU / Linux and
Open Source / Free Softwares.
Will it ever happen?
