Happy Independence Day,
Greetings ,I spoke to the Mr. Iyyam Perumal ,Exec Director of Tamil nadu
science and technological center - Kotturpuram Chennai -25. He agreed upon
a idea is to give training for the freshers who are in need of a job
position in IT industry. I explained him how good is the oppurtunity for job
seekers in floss domain. The dates are confirmed on 2nd and 3rd of September
2006 (First Saturday and Sunday of Sept). The session starts exactly at 10am
and runs till 5pm with three breaks on both of these days.
We are in need of volunteers. The session is planned like this and looking
forward for your suggestion
TRAINING ON LAMP Duration: 3 Hrs.
This Module will focus on entry level HTML,Javascript,PHP and MYSQL. This
module will cover a SDLC of a Mini project.
MODEL VIEW CONTROLLER Duartion : 2 Hrs
This module will give an overview of Model view controller, a study on with
PHPCAKE/phpsymfony or equvalent.
We have to formulate the session wise break up for the next 15 hours.
TNSTC is going to publish the call for letter for the participants in the
leading news dailies , and there are going to be 50 people. The registration
is on the basis of preferrance for freshers in computer & science
discipline.
As this session is for freshers , we can have session on emerging
technology like ruby , perl and python .
I request you to volunteer for this event. 10 computers , 1 projector and a
lecture hall for 50 is the material asset which TNSTC provides us.
