You know something? Filing these reports for random virus bounces,
instead of just filtering out the viruses and leaving them alone would
be the best possible idea. Ditto with spoofed spam. There's just too
much of it, and there are just 24 hours in the day for you to get work done.
Finding and shutting off individual virus sources on what looks like a
large broadband network on a case by case basis, based on complaints, is
a time sink. Getting ISPs to implement preventive measures (decent spam
and virus filtering, ACL'ing off "dangerous" ports across a home
broadband network, etc) is a better idea.
