Th VM networking is bound to the onboard NIC. You will need
bridge-utils (bridge interfaces) and additionally the tunctl (tap
interface) package to bind your VM's network adapter to the physical
device on the host machine.
As for activating the WiFi on your mobo, I hope you did your research
and bought something that is natively supported by Linux. Try the
lastest distro versions that have come out in the last 6 weeks or so.
I have not tried binding br0 to wlan0 but you could give it a shot on
your system and let us know if it works.
