Hi all,
When asked how Ubuntu takes care for Updates, I was told that the
apt-watch(which is a Gnome applet) takes care of
it.I was searching for an equivalent kde applet but in the apt-watch source
code README, the author has mentioned that there is no support for other
desktop environments than Gnome (didnt expect this!). I asked even the
debian irc channels and they too told me the same.
I have not used Kubuntu. How are the updates being handled with Kubuntu?.
How is User notified with new updates?.Are they using the same apt-watch ?
