Do you think a non-technical guy is bothered about whether the hardware
vendor is giving the data sheets? If his hardware is not working in linux
he is simply going to say linux does not support this hardware.
RMS said in his interview:::: "Ask your hardware vendor to give Open sources
driver for the hardware.if he is not providing any open driver"DONT BUY THAT
HARDWARE"..
I dont have any doubt that open drivers are far far far better that closed
drivers.
