No need to worry about the dependencies .
sudo aptitude install subversion
This should do AFAIK, downloading all the required dependencies if any.
If you are downloading the source from the subversion site, then you
need to manually fix the dependencies, build from source and install.
It's a painful process if you haven't done before and using a package
manager available in the distribution should be wise.
