dear paul,
i tried that command, it gave the error "File system not open".
what should i give?
To recover the deleted files, u can use inode number of that files.
Before that u should have enough space to store that images or u
should have separate partition for restore that files.

Dear Friends,
Yesterday i have posted one mail regarding recovering
deleted files.
I used 'debugfs' command, it gaves me command prompt
as
debugfs:
I used 'lsdel' to list the deleted files. But it shows
nothing about the deleted files.
when I used 'dump_unused', it listed all the unused
inodes data as raw data which runs on the screen. it's
all my deleted files.
But I can't able to capture the data into a file.
Is there any possible way to capture the data into any
file/media.
If anybody knows please help me.
Thanks in advance.
Best Regards.
Babu. J
